Turnstone Whippets first Whippet was purchased from Mrs Pat Hutchings of the 'Stonifleet' affix. This lovely Parti bitch, 'Stonifleet Sandpiper' was the first 'Show' dog.

She won many Best of Breeds at Open Shows and was placed at Championship Shows. 'Stonifleet Sandpiper' was mated to 'CH Walkabout Woodpecker of Rivedo' and produced 5 quality puppies. The turnstone kennel was up and running...

Sadly Stonifleet Sandpiper (Tess) passed away in November 2003, aged 11 years.
